This information is for the protection of the members, their families and guests. Please take the time to read and review these rules!
Safety is MVCC's top priority anyone that puts other members at risk may be asked to leave.
General Information:
- The website is the primary for information concerning special events, lessons, and swim team participation.
- MVCC will be closed during adverse weather conditions, but may reopen if conditions improve.
- Members are allowed to bring non-member guests under the following conditions:
- Members accompany their guests to the pool
- Guests register at the front desk upon arrival
- Guests pay the daily guest fee
- Maximum 5 guests at a time per family
- Guest Fees: $8 per day
General Rules:
- Everyone must register to enter the club by filling in appropriate information in registration book at front desk.
- Use of club facilities is at your own risk. The club is not responsible for any accident or injury.
- The club is not responsible for theft or loss of personal property.
- Club property damaged by members or their guests will be charged to the member.
- Adults are required to be in the wading pool (baby pool) area with their small children.
- Pets are not allowed at Maple Village Country Club.
- Refreshments and smoking is only permitted behind the green line.
- Abusive or profane language is not permitted and will not be tolerated. Offenders will be removed from the club.
- Only persons in swimming attire should be in front of the green line.
- Any situations not specifically covered in these rules will be determined by the manager on duty.
- The Board of Directors has the right to amend or establish new rules at any time.
- Complaints must be submitted in writing to the Board.
- Changes in family members using the club must be submitted to the Board.
- Outside food and beverage is acceptable.
- Glass containers ARE NOT allowed. (Pool Deck, Picnic Area, Coolers, Tennis Court)
- Alcoholic beverages are okay, as long as you don’t abuse and become belligerent.
- Modest (appropriate) dress is required. Violators will be asked to leave or better conceal.
Pool Rules:
- No pushing, wrestling, running or acts causing undue disturbance will be allowed in the pool.
- Manager has the right to refuse admittance to anyone for health reasons.
- Urinating in the pool is prohibited. Showers are required before entering the pool.
- No “Horse and Rider” or “Chicken Fighting” is allowed.
- No swimming in the diving area.
- Do not hang on the ropes, unless in trouble.
- No inward or reverse diving during pool hours.
- Wading pool is for use by small children only. They must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Diaper-wearing children MUST wear swim diapers when in either pool. These can be purchased at the pool.
- Only objects approved by the manager will be allowed in the pool area. Water wings are permitted only in the 3' area.
- No spitting in the pool.
Tennis/Volleyball Rules:
- General club rules apply with respect to hours, ages and guest privileges.
- Shoes must be worn on the tennis court at all times.
- No pushing, wrestling, running or acts causing undue disturbance will be allowed in the tennis court or volleyball areas.
Rules that apply to Babysitters:
- Babysitters must be at least 16 years of age. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult (18 yrs. or older) at all times. Babysitters who are younger than 18 yrs. old may not bring children under the age of 8 to the club.
- Babysitters must remain with the child(ren) at all times. Babysitters under the age of 18, and their wards, are not permitted after 5:00 p.m.
- Being added as a babysitter does not give the babysitter a membership. The babysitter must be with at least one child listed on the membership referenced above.
- The babysitter cannot be in attendance at the club when member parent/s is/are present.
- Members are responsible for the babysitter listed under their membership.
