The barracuda is a ray-finned fish known for its large size, fearsome appearance and ferocious behaviour. At MVCC, a barracuda is known as a fun-loving kid that enjoys swimming, making new friends and being part of some friendly competition. It is a known fact that Not All Athletes Wear Shoes!

Welcome to the MVCC Swim team!!! It is our ultimate goal to have FUN, while improving our strength and competitive swimming skills.   

All swimmers must have a paid membership to MVCC.

Swim Team Parent Information Meeting to ask questions and meet the coach:

Deadline to sign up for Swim Team is June 1st.

Anyone who is 18 years old (by June 1st) or a 2024 high school spring graduate, may compete in the league AND must be a member of MVCC. Younger swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool to join the team

Swim Meets: 6pm on Wednesday June 5, 12, 19, 26 and July 3rd.  Locations TBD

Preliminary Qualifications are on Monday, July 8th (ages 10 and under) and Tuesday, July 9th (older swimmers). 
Season Finals: Thursday, July 11th
Locations TBD

Swim Team Awards Party (family picnic, awards presentations & pool party) :
Saturday, July 13th @ 5-9pm, at MVCC
